Aveeno was founded on the power of finely milled colloidal oatmeal to heal and soothe dry, compromised skin. Today, Aveeno researches and works with scientists and dermatologists around the world to unlock the therapeutic power of nature’s most restorative ingredients, delivering clinically-proven products that nurture and care for skin.⁠
We were challenged to modernize the brand's packaging design across body, face, and sun product collections. Our parameters were to use existing product structures, color stories, and illustrations to deliver a soft design update that would not alienate existing consumers.⁠

I worked on this self-initiated project in my spare time while I was working on the Aveeno redesign project. I wanted to show our business partners how our brand strategy and design could extend to our digital experiences.⁠⁠
Self-initiated projects can spiral without clear objectives. The challenge I set for myself on this project was to extend our brand strategy to our digital experience. I wanted to create a space where people would feel calm and balanced in their quest for more information about Aveeno's products and their skin.⁠⁠ 

My approach was to create an environment that felt trustworthy, honest, and informative. I wanted to recreate the feeling of assurance a skincare expert could provide you in a retail experience.⁠⁠
