Opportunity:
Aveeno is a global skincare brand with a heritage of therapeutic solutions targeting specific dermatological concerns. Rooted in discovery, the brand unlocks the power of nature through science to develop effective products. However, on shelf the strength of the brand was getting lost in the shadows of more modern, vibrant packaging designs.
Solution:
A rich, bright color story illuminates the brand on shelf and highlights the natural hero ingredients behind each product line. The apothecary label works to reinforce the brand’s heritage and creates an easy-to-navigate architecture on shelf. I created a design system that would address communication and differentiation challenges across 60 products, and one that is adaptable and expandable for continued innovation.
